Welcome to Expat Mummy Travels!

This site is a reflection of my family and friends’ experiences related to living, working, and travelling internationally with children with the aim of exposing them to other cultures while maintaining the stable domestic environment children crave. Beyond this, the blog also reflects the needs of mums and dads outside of their roles as parents as each of us have unique interests separate from our children that need to be nurtured overseas just as much as at home and there are unique challenges in nurturing these interests as an expat.

I hope that our experiences will assist others who are in similar situations and for those who may not yet have the luxury to travel internationally but are interested in bring the world to their children at home.

In the words of Dr. Seuss:

“Congratulations! Today is your day. Your off to great places! You’re off and away!”  “You’re off to great places. Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So… get on your way!”
